Bullpen News was a finance letter designed to drive traffic to LogoIntern. It ran for some time, but LogoIntern's organic growth eventually made the newsletter unnecessary. The lottie Rube Goldberg machine is still one of my favorite design pieces, it runs in the browser no video or plugins necessary.

BullpenNews went through several iterations before landing on the final. To the right is one of my favorites. The name ThirdYear with the rapidly depleting bar graph was a bit of an inside joke relating to how most annalists are ready to move on by their third year.
Bullpen News shipped for a while and did exactly what it was designed to do: drive curious readers toward LogoIntern. But LogoIntern's organic growth quickly outpaced what the newsletter could contribute, and the project was wound down once it had served its purpose.
